Back to Normal

It's the second to last day! Today was the happy, normal day before the sadness of leaving hits us on the last day. Today we all slept in late, all exhausted from our previous day of traveling and from getting back to the apartment late. The normal rotation started up again. I was in the baby home group and was so excited to hear Fuquan's laugh, Ran Ran's weezing breathing, Peach Fuzz's grouchy face and all of the babies again. Everyone was glad to be back on schedule and to be playing with the babies and children that they had been with for so long and created special bonds with throughout the trip. For our afternoon activity we had our last shopping spree at the Pearl Market. Everyone splurged and bought last souvenirs and gifts for people. For dinner we had Mongolian Hot Pot which were tiny cooking pots of broth that over the course of the meal were filled with a mixture of ingredients. I think it was one of my favorite meals. Tonight was our final forum, a very meaningful and deep, as well as funny conversation. We discussed what we had learned from the trip, what we would miss, what in our lives would change after such a enormous experience, and where we saw ourselves in the future.
