Our original departure time of 9:15 was pushed back to 1:30 due to a crazy visit to the hospital. This was not Maria's first time in the hospital, but it was the most adventurous. Devin courageously went with her, wearing his trusty blue mask to protect himself from the Swine Flu. The trip made Maria feel a lot better and she was able to come with us. Yay! We finally arrived at the hot springs that evening. After a delicious dinner, we all soaked our weary bones in the hot lava water. Some of us even braved the 48 degree tub...celcius that is. We all slept very well that night.
