Building the cafeteria and playing duck duck goose

Author: Branwen and Rachel
Location: Picagres and coffee plantation
After a fantastic breakfast we headed to the high school. In the morning we made more cement and the local kids helped us which was great. In return we helped them with their english. For lunch we were able to spend some time talking and playing with the kids. After lunch we drove about an hour to a coffee plantation. We learned how coffee is made and that this was the largest plantation in Costa Rica. The plantation sends their coffee to Satrbucks and Pete's. We tasted chocolate covered coffee beans which were really delicious and we bought coffee for our families. Some people bought Reeses Pieces and Kayley got really hyper and Maria and Chris played catch while we were on the bus and it was really funny. Tonight we had salsa lessons which was a great experience. PS. Jorge's (the bus driver's) son is really hot.
