Location: Santa Cruz Island, Tortuga Bay
Today began like any other day; we ate breakfast and then headed off for our community service project: trail maintenance. We cleaned paths with machetes and painted trail markers. Slowly, painting the markers escalated into painting one another. After the paining fiasco, however, we had the beach to look forward to. We walked/ran along a long path made of volcanic stones and were greeted at the end by the beautiful turquoise ocean at Tortuga Bay.
