White Water Rafting

Today we woke up bright and early in the research center. We ate breakfast in the cafeteria with all the researchers and after some headed to the gift shop while others slept. We then got onto the bus and made our way to go white water rafting! We got on our bathing suits, life jackets, and helmets and jumped right in. We floated down the rapids and lost a few on our way. Just kidding! Some did fall out but everyone jumped in sooner or later. We a couple of stops and ended up at our destination soaked but satisfied. We then headed to lunch and there we got to see a bunch of pictures that were taken of us. (To be posted soon) Then we were wisked away to the bus once again to go and meet out home stay families. Excitement and cheer swept over the bus as we tried to imagen what or who our home stay families would be like. As we pulled up to Anna's house we saw mothers and fathers waiting for our arrival. Some were timid and others lept with excitement. Once we were all at Anna's house she paired up the kids with the home stay families. Annie and Kaley stayed together, as did Shanell and Branwen. Josh went with J.J. and Maria, Sophia, and Rachel went in a group of three, while Chris (the oldest of the group) went alone. Now Annie and Kaley are finishing up the blog, and since we are not with the rest of the group we cannot explain how their nights went but if it is anything like our night they are being given a warm and welcome home. P.S. Shout our to Danielle (my mom) because everyday before I left for Costa Rica she begged me to write on the blog to tell her how I was. Mom, it doesn't really work like that! Hah! But here is your shout out. I love you
