The day began as an early one, waking up at 6:15 in order to begin our breakfast and simultaneously get underway from Jost van Dyke to West End, Tortola where our service project of the day would take place. This project was a fun one. It was the re-painting of Zion Methodist Church, one of the oldest churches in the BVIs. We did this with the kids from YEP (Youth Empowerment Poject) which is a group of kids varying in age that assisted in the painting of this historic building. By the end of the day with the help of the YEP kids, we had painted two coats of paint of the church and had lots of fun. Next, was a long motor to the Sunsail headquarters in Road Town to enjoy showers on land. The day ended with a delicious "Mexican night" dinner. Today was a fun day.
