Danger in the Jungle

Author: Everyone
Location: La Selva
We started off the morning relaxing in hammocks and then we took a boat ride. We turned the boat into a salon where people got their hair braided and shaved. We had a ten minute bought drinks and had to pay to use the bathroom. Once on land again we had a FABULOUS lunch with phenominally seasoned chicken and unique, but exquisite rice and beans. To top it off...fried plantains. Then we got on the bus for a few hours. We then entered the jungle preserve. We had to sign a waiver about snake bites! After dinner, we split into two groups and went on a jungle night walk. Some had more fear than others. John screamed, Vince winced, and Dede laughed. We saw crazy snakes, frogs, birds, ants, insects, spiders, crocodiles, and a praying mantis. We even encountered the most deadly snake in Costa Rica, the Fer de Lance. Luckily, nobody got bit.
