"Hey, pretty lady, do you want a sweater?"

It was a typical Chinese morning, what ever that's supposed to mean. After breakfast, everyone went off on their daily rotations, although with a few people sick, some had to switch from the less active babies to the more energetic group home kids.

Everyone was looking forward to a fun afternoon. We loaded on the bus to head towards the Silk Market to try our skills at bartering. It was 6 floors of jammed pack madness. There were floors packed clothes, shoes, electronics, souvenirs, and hand bags. To be more efficient we split into smaller groups and went off for two hours. Some of us were better at bartering than others, but everyone walked away happy with their finds.

Instead of eating at the normal Chinese restaurant, we went to a Peking Duck dinner that was really delicious. Everyone tried a little of everything and we ate ourselves full. We had duck, duck skin, Chinese salad, egg and leak dumplings, lamb, and some sort of hot pocket type things. Once we had cleared our plates and were satisfied, we loaded back on the bus while a few people made a pit stop at McDonalds to get some desert, before we made our way back home to rest up for tomorrow and our trip to Xian.
