Location: Tortugero
We took a 3 hour boat trip to Tortugero. On the way there, we saw animals including a three toed sloth, mini-crocodiles, howler monkeys, and cormorants. We stopped for lunch and then reached Tortugero. We then went into town where we watched a documentary on saving sea turtles. After, we went shopping and came back to the hotel for dinner. In the evening, we split into two groups and witnessed large green sea turtles laying their eggs.
