Bunkbeds, Soccer, and More Soccer

After a great breakfast with our homestay families, all of us gathered at Anna's to head to La Carpio. Once we were there we split into 2 groups. One distributed bunk beds throughout the homes of La Carpio, and the other group made the pieces for the bunk beds. After 2 hours of this, we all met up at the pre-school. After a delicious lunch made by our homestay moms, we split into 2 groups again. One stayed at the school while the other distributed more bunk beds. The children were very friendly and wanted us to run up the hill with them on our backs. After a while some of us started to play soccer with some of the older boys nearby. They were very good, but we could tell they were playing easy for us. When the second group came back we went to distribute another bunkbed to a family of ten children! We all went to our homestay families to rest before the big soccer game. It was a very fun game, and all of our homestay brothers were very good. One boy screamed when he wanted the ball and scared everyone he was trying to get it from. Devin unfortunately hurt his head, we're not sure what happened though. After running around and laughing with friends we headed back to our homes to get some much needed rest before we go to Picagres High School one last time.
