Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
This morning was a slow start because of our well-deserved and happily accepted sleep in til around 8:00! After a delicious French toast breakfast, clean up was quick because people were eager to get going with the fun day ahead. Next we made a quick shore trip to Marina Cay to pick up drinks and snacks at the Pusser's gift shop. Again, everyone was quick to get the boat ready to leave for Muskmelon Bay where we would have our play day. The short one hour motor through the islands was pleasant. A mayo-free chicken salad lunch left a hearty clean up for the deckies. Joined by Ben and Hannah off turtle tagging with ActionQuest, the long awaited play day began. The day was fun filled with a rainy afternoon of wakeboarding, snorkeling (shark!!), and Nat/Jack pico tipping from the strong winds the rain brought. Some of us were indoors and others were outside saving the tipping picos and enjoying the less salty (rain) showers. The afternoon continued with card games and bracelet making as dinner was cooking. Hannah returned in time for the "What is your favorite dessert" squeeze question and yummy chili dinner. After yet another quick clean up and shipmate dinghy trips to other ActionQuest boats anchored in the bay, we continued the relaxing and fun day by watching a BVI environment/conservation movie and played card games and chatted.
